What We Collect

PermitBase collects account email and authentication data needed to create accounts, manage sessions, and provide API access. API keys should be treated as secrets and should not be shared publicly or committed to source control.

API Usage Logs

API usage logs may include request metadata such as endpoint, status, latency, city or jurisdiction, business type, coverage status, and result count. We use this metadata for usage metering, reliability monitoring, debugging, and account support. We do not claim to store full request bodies in usage logs.

Payments and Service Providers

Stripe handles billing and payment processing. PermitBase does not store full card numbers. Supabase, Vercel, and other hosting, database, or infrastructure providers may process app data so we can operate the service.

How We Use Data

We use collected data to provide the app, authenticate users, meter API usage, process billing, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. PermitBase provides data tools, not legal advice.
